     @fsfe Which is a pretty cool thing in terms of consumer rights, that said these days there's a new issue that popped up: Banking applications requiring OS attestation / non-rooting.

     @fsfe modern phones have the bootloader locked from the mainboard, it was the standard for Chinese produced but now is becoming unavoidable
