Aether ??? (aether@poa.st)'s status on Monday, 07-Aug-2023 19:54:04 JST Aether ??? Don't buy Chromebooks.
arstechnica.com/gadgets/2023/08/no-discounts-or-warnings-for-people-shopping-eol-chromebooks-on-amazon-walmart/
Chromebooks generally have fixed lifespans after which they stop receiving updates, because Google is a jew company in a jew industry.
Amazon and Walmart are selling Chromebooks that have already expired, at full price, because they are jew companies in jew industries.
And they do not make any note of the fact that they are selling the digital equivalent of rancid meat, anywhere.
Unsurprisingly, none of the companies involved have responded to questions.- BowserNoodle ☦️ likes this.

Lester Cordell (c_j_s@poa.st)'s status on Monday, 07-Aug-2023 20:49:40 JST Lester Cordell @Aether I thought I got a good deal on a pair of trail cameras, on Amazon, the other day because I forgot how many MP one I bought previously I had.
I basically paid $10 less for significantly worse features.
I think a lot of chinky electronics salesmen realized that if you don't put it on sale - some idiot like me will buy the outdated thing because tyranny of choice makes it a headache. In conversation permalink BowserNoodle ☦️ likes this. -

junicks@fedibird.com's status on Tuesday, 08-Aug-2023 09:51:14 JST junicks @Humpleupagus @Aether schools love "adminless" ecosystems. plug'n'play, they don't care about sustainability or support, once the kids are out of school, they brick the devices and throw them away.

I assume that the reason chromebooks were used was the result of lobbying and not any features of the devices themselves. In conversation permalink Attachments
