     @cell It seems people who re-encode things (thus degrading the quality) now either encode to 10-bit AV1 or the extra proprietary, 10-bit H.265.
     
     I myself prefer remux's into mkv, just as long as the format is playable with free software.

     My CPU can decode 10-bit H.264 just fine.
