    Bad news

#Google finally released more info about their new #GooglePlayPolicies:

Personal accounts must give Google legal name, legal address, email and phone number.

Google will publish legal name, country and email for developers.

Organization accounts must give the above info and a D-U-N-S number.

Google will publish legal name, address, email and phone number for organization accounts.

Google is effectively going to dox every single trans dev on #GooglePlay.

register an LLC in Wyoming, they will protect your identity. Use that LLC for everything.

yes, they will not reveal your identity. Copy/paste from elsewhere on the internet because I'm too lazy to look up their actual statutes:

      (1) no state citizenship requirement
      (2) no state income tax on individuals or business entities
      (3) no state franchise tax on LLCs
      (4) no state estate or inheritance tax
      (5) 1,000-year limitation on perpetuities
      (6) strong asset protection laws
      (7) foreign special purpose vehicles are authorized (meaning your Wyoming LLC can be the sole member of LLCs in California holding investment real property, for example).

re-replying just because the last one didn't address the main point, just listed the other good benefits of Wyoming LLCs

      4 states offer anonymous/private LLCs:

      - Wyoming
      - Nevada
      - New Mexico
      - Delaware

Wyoming is most tax friendly. "A Wyoming LLC is anonymous if you want it to be. Wyoming does not require members or managers be listed, only the registered agent and person who files the paperwork." -- so you can pay a registered agent to register it on your behalf, and your name is not associated with the LLC. (Registered Agents are everywhere, they do this for tons of people and companies that need someone to manage their LLCs)

Nevada is most expensive to be registered in, so I'd avoid it.

New Mexico is: "the only state that does not require disclosure of the ownership of an anonymous LLC to the state, which means your business can expect the strongest privacy and confidentiality." But I don't believe you can register an LLC in New Mexico without being a citizen? Checking...

      Delaware. "We're in... Delaware." - Wayne's World

Oh, in 2017 they reduced some of the anonymity of Wyoming LLCs! I was not aware of this

Wyoming removes the cloak of anonymity for shell companies
Wyoming removes the cloak of anonymity for shell companies. The Wyoming legislature is in session for the next few weeks. One of the pending bills aims to plug a loophole that allows people to own or control Wyoming corporations and companies anonymously. As I have wrote about in the past, as...
