     @coolboymew I looked it up once after watching Rurouni Kenshin, the Zanbato appears to be based on a real very large sword (possibly, its only mentioned in text apparently) however the sword was supposedly only for show, not actual use as it would take two or more men to swing said sword.

     Thank for reading my random infodump of this topic.

     @coolboymew afaik it is a fictional blade inspired by the chinese sword zhanmadao that is hella big for a irl blade but looks nothing like zanbato
