Are there any desktop Linux text editors with support for wiki markup, and regular shortcuts like Ctrl+K to insert links?

Like, there's a million text editors, and thousands supporting markdown, but I've never heard of one with support for the markup language used by @mediawiki, the biggest wiki software in the world. Isn't that a bit strange?

Also, is this markup language really named "wiki markup"? If so, then why isn't it even on Wikipedias own list of markup languages? They use it, but don't list it!? O.o https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_document_markup_languages

@kefir Hey, awesome, that worked! Thank you! Just installed the mentioned LibreOffice package, and now I can use LO to write in a way I can just copy and paste into a @mediawiki wiki. Sure, it would be nice with something maybe lighter, specific for wiki format, that saved directly to that, without exporting, but LO is fine.

@forteller @mediawiki probably not what you were looking for, but maybe a starting point?

@kefir Actually, using LO is pretty good, because then I can auto-remove all the "you know"'s… 😄
