     @cstross @AlisonW My old motorbike, an Aprilia RS125, had a warning in the owner's manual that no part of it was edible.

     A warning important enough to also bear repeating in the workshop manual.

     I don't know if that's just an Italian thing or if there has been a particularly interesting court case against them in the past.

     @AlisonW I once read a manual from an Apple LaserWriter printer that felt it necessary to say, "WARNING Do not operate in the rain or under a shower. Do not immerse in the bath."
