   I scoured the world for a tea towel that does it all:

   * Actually dries things
   * Doesn’t leave little bits of towel all over anything you dry
   * Leaves glasses clear without streaks and smudges

   I eventually found it years ago, but they were expensive so I only bought two, and now I have NFI where I got them 😭

     @Sophistifunk get 4 of these and you will be happy the rest of your life. They are super cheap at this price, but worth every penny. I got 6 of them at this price so i will never run out.

     The rule in the house it Cordon Blue towel for dishes only, no exception.

     Best overall towel I have ever owned, and I looked for years.

     as long as we're ragging on towels. @Sophistifunk ...

     ... I have come to detest the MICRO-FIBER type material for this application.

     If I'm trying to dry my CAR, fine, but

     I hate it in the kitchen or bath. I DO THINGS and my hands are a bit rough... not bad, but still... those towels SNAG on my hands.

     It's a horrible feeling. Blech.

     @Sophistifunk if they will ship them to you buy them. I promise you if you don't like them I will send you your money back, that is how sure I am they are what you need. and years from now you will still be telling the story of some weird american who lives in slovakia and told you about the best tea towel on the planet. and yes if the aliens show up it is one of two towels I will be taking on the journey. The other being a rather large bath sheet from LL Bean but thats a different story.
