  @ned the Ninja V needs an Atomos adaptor that I don’t have. It might work off NPF dummy from D-Tap but I don’t have one. I generally don’t use that monitor with this camera but the canon monitor SUCKS in the sun. This guy works pretty well. I also wasn’t recording to the V so the NPF lasted almost the entire day.

  @ned older Atomos recorders do have a better way to power. I think the V is so small they had to make some sacrifices.

  @Baylor If you can go all day then I guess it doesn't matter. I just hate it when you have like 3 different batteries to charge. Easier to run off 1 with spares.

  @ned yeah that’s the little guy…. I’m trying to convince my wife to let me buy three monitors to replace the V and an older field monitor. Well, two monitors and an EVF. So far she’s not ok with it. lol!
