My much-loved Corsair virtuosos are starting to fall apart.
So what new headphones should i buy for streaming, and do the cat ears on them glow?

@garius I use the Razer Kraken Kitty Edition! The RGB is customizable, and the ear cups are very comfy uwu
@reyjis is the mic detachable?
I have my elgato wave 3 for desk stuff.
@reyjis i presume on the kraken kittys the ears aren't detachable?
Slightly annoyed, looking at the razer site, that they don't do the bluetooth version in Black!
@garius The mic isn't detachable, but it does retract/slide back into the headset pretty easily if you don't need it
@reyjis yeah, i think that's what i'm torn between!
In my ideal, i want something that's black and bluetooth.
the reason for that being i can then use them on the days i go into the office for both my phone and for Teams calls when I'm at work.
It's why detachable (or retractable) mic is nice. means i can use that at work and my wave 3 when streaming at home.
I'm not THAT fussed about the detachables as I suspect they look nicer with fixed!
@garius Ears aren't detachable on the kitty edition, but i believe they also sell the ears separately if you just want to get the regular kraken headphones?
@reyjis yeah, think that's my current plan. Although I reckon i can get a few more months out of my Virtuosos, so gonna leave it as long as possible before pulling the trigger in case something new gets released.
Thank you so much for the images and feedback! Online reviews etc are such a lottery these days...
@garius Sounds like the regular edition kraken BT headset might be a good bet then, if you're alright spending the money for the separate ears? Otherwise I'm sure you could easily find a pair of cheap knock off rgb kitty ears to attach instead, seems like everyone makes them 😅
