     @RustyCrab @TechnicalSuwako No, they banned the extension, they haven’t banned people using it. You wouldn’t get your account banned for using an extension. I use coincidence detector which is also a banned extension.

     I heard a rumor that Google was planning to ban all adblockers from the extension store but I don’t think that’ll happen…

     @milk @RustyCrab @TechnicalSuwako I remember them trying this like 4 or 5 years ago, with specific adblockers, and the backlash was immense leading to them not following through.

     @milk @TechnicalSuwako they've been saying that for like 7 years. I think at some point they did update chrome to make adblocking more difficult, but I use brave so I assume they take care of that stuff (no problems so far)
