     Shallow shit like that though doesn't feed and shelter the starving children in Africa or provide adequate plumbing to the outsourced tech support in India. When they're expected to work the same hours as an Amazon wagie for half the price, how do you expect them to manage in relieving themselves?

     Still, a pretty shallow gesture that only serves to make them look good on national television while doing very little in the way of actually addressing societal issues. Does giving an Aboriginal person a house do much to fix the rampant homelessness in Los Angeles?

     I find it to be pretty damn funny considering they’ve made a point of being a “sanctuary state“ welcoming illegal immigrants from states actively deporting them back. Yet they can’t even address the issue of homelessness in their own city’s population.

     Should probably be focusing on getting people off skid row before they start accepting illegals that haven’t even acquired access into the country through the proper channels that exist for a good reason.

     @Maholmire @Piss_Ant Well being of the "progressive" world directly depends on hunger and poverty in Africa and other countries. Anything short of moving on from capitalism would be an empty PR gesture because anything given to them would be drained back in no time by the same people.
