And I say to Justice Alito, no provision in the Constitution gives him the authority to regulate women's bodies.

And the Judicial branch can't constrain the Executive or Legislative branches. Or even individual states like Alabama.
It's right there in the Constitution

DoubleFelix (doublefelix@universeodon.com)'s status on Saturday, 29-Jul-2023 11:16:50 JST DoubleFelix @georgetakei Maybe Justice Alito should read the Constitution, Article III, section 2, which reads "In all cases affecting ambassadors, ... In all the other cases before mentioned, the Supreme Court shall have appellate jurisdiction, both as to law and fact, with such exceptions, AND UNDER SUCH REGULATIONS AS THE CONGRESS SHALL MAKE."
How scary is it when one of the 9 SCOTUS Justices hasn't even read the Constitution? -

Justice Alito tells the Wall Street Journal that Congress has no business policing SCOTUS. "l know this is a controversial view, but I’'m willing to say it... No provision in the Constitution gives them the authority to regulate the Supreme Court —period."
