   @thecog@infosec.exchange For content you're interested in, sometimes don't follow the people themselves but consider following the hashtags. On Mastodon, if you search a hashtag, there's a button for you to follow that hashtag.
   
   If someone posts anything with that hashtag, it will populate on your Home feed.
   
   Remember, the timelines are not curated with an algorithm, the use of hashtags are a lot more important on the #fediverse.
   
   Also, there are accounts that were created to show interesting follows & offer tips on how to have a better experience on the fediverse:

   - @feditips@mstdn.social

     @deltatux @feditips @FediFollows @thecog This was very helpful for me. I went and followed a bunch of hashtags. Is there a way to manage all your followed hashtags in the settings somewhere?
