   Also you... don't really get to pick and choose which slurs get reclaimed. If someone wants to call themselves a tr*p or a tr*nny or whatever then that's their own business. It's ok to be like, uncomfortable with slurs but not to the point of fucking cancelling someone because they have a specific identity thing going on??

     i feel like if you use GIMP to refer to the program you're fine but if you use it to refer to a person you're obviously using it in bad faith

     also it fucking pisses me off how free software people shat all over the Glimmer(?) project. I don't think you get to have an opinion about GIMP if you were one of the people ranting about Glimmer (the GIMP fork)
