I had no idea "subscription bombing" was a thing, but fyi:

- it's annoying and nearly impossible to stop, but
- the REAL purpose is to bury legitimate emails warning of fraud.

someone had added a bank account for transfers to our actual bank account. it was pending approval. to avoid my seeing the email from my actual bank about this, they've signed me up for a shitload of newsletters, websites, and services
