   @ThatLARRYSHOW When I was courting the missus, we went to the highest of high end sushi joints in Vancouver, if not the world, called Tojo's. We went there because I blew my wad on the first date, including the tow and ticket for parking in a lot without paying for a spot. I asked my friend a swank but moderatley priced restaurant to take her to impress her. Upon perusing the menu I shit my pants. The next day I freaked out on my buddy, he said he'd forgotten the gift certificate he was given.

     @ThatLARRYSHOW Dinner was $350! And that was twenty plus years ago! But it was literally the best meal I've ever eaten. We opted for a multi course Chef's surprise meal. The food and the service were out of this world. And I experienced flavours I'd never before imagined.

     Getting east coast sushi tonight for the first time in decades.

     I had a place in LA that was exemplary.

     Hope its as good. Maybe better?

     @Kaiserhase @ThatLARRYSHOW If memory serves, a glass or two of wine and beer each. Shit, I took her out for her birthday a couple of weeks ago, and dinner came to a few shekels under $500. Mind you, it was probably the second best meal I've ever had. And it came with wine pairings for each course.
