   @coolboymew Ironically this made me more motivated to not die in Banjo Kazooie because me thinking Gruntilda was hot made me very uncomfortable. 10/10 game over screen.

     @che5hire thankfully you can skip the cutscene after the first time seeing it, but I always found it extremely weird that selecting quit also drops the game over cutscene

     @coolboymew I didn’t even know you could skip it? Not sure if I was stupid or if I just don’t remember (it’s been a while since I last played). Damage has already been done tho, video games turned me gay :deadinside:

     @coolboymew I had a similar experience with pokemon red since I was really young when I first played. I actually kinda used it to learn how to read but could never beat it because of that.

     Later I got a Japanese copy Heart Gold because I didn’t want to wait and I played Gold a ton as a kid so I kinda just understood what was going on. I just guessed around for the radio tower quiz thing but that was the only thing that kinda stumped me due to the language barrier iirc. Safari zone was also impossible to use but you didn’t really need that to finish the game.

     @che5hire oh yeah, had to deal with this too. Except Pokemon is nowhere as hard to use and the language is so basic some of it could be understood
