@ryo but why? Seeing how the globalist hegemony wants to silence or subvert Japan's artistic influence & extent on the world, such doxxing would only be for nefarious reasons methonks. :thonk:
@Ronnie21093@ryo that's always how they explain their draconian pushes for censorship or doxxing: "for your safety", "for your privacy". bleah :tantrum:
@udon They could at the very least be up front about the consequences. Oh wait, it's the government we're talking about, so of course they won't do that!
@ryo I'd really like to get a JP localization of Mitra... even if the uptake is a fraction of 1%, a self-hosted XMR Patreon has the potential to be useful going forward.
@ryo That's fucking sad, like most JP Manga artists are already open about who they are and plenty of people can do simple things like seeing if they have an account that's legit. I assume this is more of a problem for hentai artists who draw lolis or JK girls or whatever else is popular to "woke" Twitter users to hate on that day. Can't they protest against this?
@Dakotastomp96 Most manga artists don't disclose who they are to anyone other than their publishers actually, so no idea what you mean by "being open about who they are".
As for protest, they probably won't. Japan just doesn't really have a protest culture, it's instead more common to just bite through the sour apple and go along with it like if it's no big deal.
@Dakotastomp96 Depends on the manga-ka in question. Some are known, others are not. But even if everyone in Shonen Jump is known, it's still just a fraction of all the manga-ka throughout the country.
@ryo take Kohai of MHA, and niggas were mad at the team for not making a non-binary character or "Sexualizing the female characters" with their outfits or some bullshit earlier back in 2020, and even after all the criticism, they're still making bank and loved by its fans. People seem to know who he is.
@ryo@Dakotastomp96 If Japan stopped being complacent, though, I think things would get much uglier than in the west. I remember a webm on 8/pol/ of a woman in a protest against Korean immigration (I think), using a megaphone to talk about killing all the Koreans and making the Rape of Nanking look like a fucking joke, and the crowd seemed to like the idea. I thought it was funny. The "waito piggu go homu" video that became a meme was also funny. I think it's possible that it would be like the kid in school that everyone fucks with, that never reacts or does anything, but then one day shows up to school with his dad's guns.
@TerminalAutism@Dakotastomp96 I think that day will come, but before that happens, I'm afraid this country needs to get through something far beyond the darkest, most evil dystopia ever before the grey masses start going like "maybe something's wrong with this world after all...".
OOOOOOORRRR, a minority of awake people can teach the grey masses OPSEC skills, and then evolve to full on anarchy (right to own a gun, cryptocurrencies, independent businesses, fuck the government, and so on), as OPSEC is the easiest starting point, and once you get that one down well enough, everything else naturally happens.
You just can't tell people about how the Freemason Jews/Jesuits are running the world, how they're making everyone sick (and killing a portion of them) through lethal injections, and all that, simply because most won't believe you. I learned that they will just need to experience how it is to think for yourself first before they will understand, this goes for all countries, not just Japan.
@ryo@Dakotastomp96 "I'm afraid this country needs to get through something far beyond the darkest, most evil dystopia ever" So, being taken over by China? That's what I think is going to happen eventually. Japan is uncomfortably close to China, so if the west falls, you know what happens. Probably right after Taiwan. And it will be a big loss. Not because of Japan's mainstream corporate slave culture, but because of the counter-culture, if you can call it that.
I really need to buy the things that I want from Japan before that happens, though. A nice collection of Seimitsu parts for my sticks, enough to last a lifetime and also enough to share. Some books, maybe a dakimakura (not buying from China). Some DVDs of shows that I can't find online because there are only torrents for the shitty blu-ray releases that were digitally traced over or have filters or some other shit. Really should make a list.
