   mhm i so wanna switch back from kde to sway on my desktop.
   
   but last time, i had performance issues with obs running on wayland (granted it was kde).
   
   should i pull le trigger?

     @kura@z0ne.social have you tried hyprland? Also, wlroots portals have gotten a lot better lately

     @kura@z0ne.social I'd say over the last couple months. Hyprland specifically got a big performance boost last week.

     i used wayland+kde+obs last month.
     it tanked my fps in diablo 4 from 150 to around15

     i switched from obs from arch repo to flatpak version.
     that brought me under x11 more performance (and working browser), thats why im seriously considering trying WL asgain

     @kura@z0ne.social fair. I usually don't do flatpak for stuff that has to interact with portals since that caused weirdness with Kooha for me in the past

     @kainoa@calckey.social am not that big of a fan of flatpak (for other reasons) either. but it works, so for now im content with it.
     maybe ill try the amf thing you told me about another time. but not yet
