victor (victor@crucible.world)'s status on Thursday, 27-Jul-2023 02:31:56 JST victor @DavidB @kekkerel @GVRon @MartinJJ Yeah, because American people don't have money. They don't vote with their money, they vote with their vote...Which has been corrupted by the people with all the money.
So what happens when "the people" come up with some fancy new money system? It all ends up going toward the wealthy via various taxes, usury, laundering, and whatever other schemes.
To prove this, just learn about who hoards most of the gold in the world. I'll give you a hint: it's not the collective "average Joe." The same will happen with ANY currency, printable/distributed/"secure" or not.
But it takes a healthy dose of cynicism (or rather realism) to see this, which most bitcoin and other crypto retards have willfully chosen to ignore.
In the end, the people who want to win, the psychopaths who will do LITERALLY ANYTHING to win, will always beat those who don't. You can't fix that with a "fair" currency; the game just gets rigged again after a short while.
There is no solution. -

You question whether people can act in their own interest. That's understandable. I'm not sure myself. We've never been at this point in history before. We all have access information now. But we can't tell what the majority is thinking because of online censorship and black box voting machines.

Are you conflating corruption with rational-self-interest?
