   @YeetLibs Cancer and diabetes is quite rare in children and there doesn't seem to be *that* many Amish children, so the sample size could explain that.
   
   Also, why would the Amish seek autism diagnosis?
   
   Maybe it could be that Amish children that aren't perfectly healthy end up dying before any diagnostics can be made.

     @guy Yes, an active life will result in less maladies, but as far as I am aware, maladies like diabetes and cancer usually only start showing up after childhood.

     The odds of an active and wholesome life resulting in less maladies is nothing but old-timey superstition.
