   I don't mean to judge, we are casual Californians and don't really GAF if someone is offended when we wear the same pair of jeans two days in a row, as long as they're clean. In most cases, you don't see people two days in a row.

   Due to size restrictions, you might be better off shipping or buying cosmetics locally rather than dragging them along.

   All this is very dependent on your agenda, I hope you have a wonderful trip!

     IKR? We are off the plane, checked into the hotel, and unpacked before our friends get their trunks out of baggage control... Their wives all think we set a bad example! 🤣😏

     If we're heading somewhere nice, she usually packs a set of jeans, slacks, capris, and a couple of shorts to mix and match with a half dozen blouses. 4 sets of undies.

     She's a basic country girl, who values travel simplicity over weight. If you're traveling Europe, it pays off. On the islands, we pack lighter.

     Doing my best to provide inspiration!

     In the case of Alaska, we usually ship 'care packages' from Amazon to our relatives before we go... These go straight into the RV when we get there. I hate dragging a bunch of extra crap around.

     It can be a fun challenge, especially after listening to our friends complain about the luggage... We just laugh and laugh, they're hopeless... 🤣😏🙄😂

     I used to live on the road for about six months of the year, my wife and I have traveled all over. We usually limit ourselves to 1 carry-on, possibly a gear bag for snorkeling.

     The main trick is to pack things that can be swapped so you can keep fresh outfits without carrying tremendous amounts. Plan to do 'sink laundry' every few days to keep your 'delicates' fresh. Bring a little Woolite in a squeeze bottle or buy the packets in a travel store.

     If you forget something, buy it!

     I’m a horrible packer.
     I always overpack.

     Leaving for a months long trip is giving me anxiety over what to bring.

     So many different activities to be prepared for.

     My Dad, not so much. He will have a tiny bag with the bare minimum.

     I’m a girl, I have lotions and potions.
     Makeup and hair products.

     Don’t even get me started on shoes and outfits!

     Uugh 😫😫
