   @natty @julia @sammy beside of that, calc realized it after 2 hours after the launch... I dont blame anyone who does not 100% always research everything perfectly. When I now hear that there were technical problems, I believe that without a doubt, especially since the rebranding was also done because of a similar situation...

     @julia@snug.moe @sammy@social.cherrykitten.dev tldr: It's correct, the Firefish repo was set up on prometheus.systems, which turned out to be alt righters, and essentially Calc backed out silently without making this fuck up publicly and loudly clear so no one sets them as a remote and went back to Codeberg for a while before self-hosting.
