   This whole "telephone" thing is never going to work! You need to choose among a million different phone companies? How can you know which to choose? What if you want to contact someone who use a different company than you? This is way too technical, no one's ever going to bother with all this.

     @portaloffreedom But we use a ton oof phone service providers, which was my point. Also, it's mostly two brands, but thankfully not only.

     I mean, yes, in fact people only buy phones from 2 brands.
