i've said it before but i have basicly eleminated all peper and food waste in my household by composting it all, all we throw away is plastic at this point cuz i can't do shit with it.

Nicely done. This is where we're at as well. We just take the plastic to a recycling center nearby on a regular basis (we don't have trash service anymore).
And your chickens will help even more with that food waste soon 😄

@kindafarming i thought about the idea cuz some woman at the farmers market sells them regularly and i'm like "ya know i could just cut her out of the loop and get it from the worms themselves"

@kindafarming it's acutally less dangerous to just underwater them, they grow slower, but they don't mind being thirsty for a minute.

Ah, I have no luck with succulents. I always end up overwatering and killing them, without fail.

@kindafarming honestly seems like the secret is to just get a good soil mix that drains really good, and a pot that has a drain hole at least
i've let the bastards sit in the rain and nothing happens they just drain the excess away and grow.

@kindafarming only had one of my succulents die which was some kinda viney thing, and i snipped of all it's vines and just propagated them 100% propagation all rooted, and developed pups.

Hrm... I suppose I could engineer the soil to better compensate for my incompetence. 😆

@kindafarming lemme put it this way, i watched a guy make a video, and his whole video was like "i'm going to over water all my plants every day for a month and see what happens" he had a few succulents in there, but the soil was right and hte bottom of the pot drained fine
