   @smitten I have been here since before pleroma. you made a rational appeal, it's perfectly logical. but it has never convinced anyone. your two choices are the people making those accusations are either acting in bad faith or they are okay in general with grouping people by stereotypes or outgroup designation

     it's just really misguided to paint pleroma and akkoma users as bad people. it makes the rest of your arguments look completely suspect. people use software? different kinds of people use software? I don't know how else to explain this, it's not a complicated idea.
     
     are you going to be held accountable for all the techbros and liberal replyguys on mastodon?
