@Moon Only if you believe what the medical industry tells you.
If I believed them, I'd be on more pills than I could count for "reasons." Doctors can go visit Nurse Nembutal and tell the LORD why they suck so bad.

@comradeagle in general I agree but they're usually looking for cancer for this, if they find cancer you want to be treated for it.

@Moon @comradeagle That's a really old Atari, looks pre 2600.
I spoke to my doctor, he said the check now just using samples

It's a Heavy Sixer, made in the USA. One of the first.

@comradeagle @Moon She's a beaut. I had a 2600 and something that looked a bit like that. Hard to recall nowadays it's so long ago

@comradeagle well that sucks, I am sorry to hear it. I have to buy mine through the state and it is a lot worse than when I had it through an employer.

I don't have medical insurance, so the point is moot for me.

@comradeagle @billy_hughes yeah it is surprising but it does power on it just doesn't show anything but a black screen.

Did you check the power supply wall wart for output? There's really not much to go wrong inside of that machine, although the internal regulator might also be an issue.

@comradeagle @billy_hughes I think I gave up and threw it out

@comradeagle @billy_hughes I probably messed up, the case itself was in basically perfect condition. I usually just don't throw things out but I can't remember exactly what I did with it. I haven't seen it in any boxes, I went through them all looking for my Dreamcasts haha.

If you didn't, there is still a market for even a dead heavy six and it's peripherals.

@comradeagle @Moon I'm pretty sure my Atari 2600 is still around. But my Dad has so much junk it'll be hard to find. Likely still works
