     Mastodon did it first and already rolled it out. It's not a Delete, it's an Update. Update activities are already used for user profiles, now it's applied to statuses. Once it's fully integrated we'll likely remove the delete+redraft button.

     @Drunken_Economist @Shadowman311 His server does not honor delete requests. But yes don't redraft for silly typos and shit, only if the context of the post is materially incorrect

     JudgeDread from FSE got all pissy & blocked me for “re-drafting” and poa.st spews multiple poa.sts instead of drafts.
