• during the night, 2 copters were trying to keep the fire in check. they had to pause for a short time during a thunderstorm at midnight.
• the situation is stable, but the fire is not under control

• parts of the public transport is opened again towards riederalp (cable car)
• the president of the commune of Bitsch is thanking all the helpers and workers for their support and their coordination
• in the forest, the situation is difficult. apparently, there were some fire fighters where the shoes melted due to the hot surface in the forest. fire fighters are on location in Oberried and lightly traversable environment
• one big copter has been put on standby, if the situation changes, it can be reassigned again
