     @CentaurBreeder @dushman @animeirl @cinerion both the VLC and MPV developers are up their own asses. VLC refuses to add gif support for whatever reason, and MPV refuses to make an intuitive file selection menu that lets you see the thumbnail (this is the case on mobile, at least). MPV might be faster but it's harder to browse files unless you already know the exact file you're looking for.
