   @DreamsAndLogic @cwebber @alm I've held the line on this for a long time, with the argument that if I have a password manager on my phone, and use an authenticator app on my phone, it's not two factor authentication anymore. It's just one-factor authentication - getting into my phone - with extra steps.

     Ah, but the joy of using an authenticator app on your phone to log in to your password manager to login to github which uses a different authenticator app on your phone to allow github to authenticate the third party app that uses an email to 2FA so you have to use the password manager to log in to gmail which requires a different authenticator app on your phone...
