   @cwebber That’s like saying you can’t be trusted with your own house keys, so only your landlord should be able to unlock your front door. It’s great if your goal is to become a renter on your own device.

     but even renters get their own house or apartment keys. (I've rented both, numerous times.) DRM is even worse than renting.
