@Ninmi update to this, when stick, touchpad and especially gyro are all well configured, mouse interfaces become really smooth even for the small buttons

@shpuld Does the vanilla version have quick action keys? They let you escape inventory management to a good degree. Especially after you've got your stacks of hundreds of cheesed out potions.

@shpuld @Ninmi i still feel like it's too awkward trying to use gyro with deck itself, since a) it has a lot of weight and intertia b) tilts the screen making it less cofmortable to look.

I do like using flickstick+gyro with dualsense tho, wish dualsense had capacitive sticks.

I guess waiting for steam controller 2 with deck-like layout.

@Ninmi 100% this. it's only after I got used to gyro aim on switch when I thought steam deck might be worth it for me

@shpuld Also, it's here where you start to really appreciate gyro and trackpads and any PC handheld device is just a joke without them.

@shpuld I felt gyro had an unfortunate delay to it, but I'm 99% sure you get used to it eventually.

@shpuld @Ninmi using gyro on the move, i.e. in bus/train is practically impossible, and uncomfortable in bed/lying down, which is basically 80% how I use it.

@hj @Ninmi it's natural for me since my switch is portable only as well, weight plays no role for me. I don't need a very big gyro range either to get the most benefit in most games anyway

@shpuld @Ninmi speaking of splat3 and gyro does it finally work right? I remember when i was playing splat2 it had this thing where if you use gyro it would lock your stick to only do horizontal movement, vertical aim would be gyro only, it was awful.

@shpuld @Ninmi I mean in commuter train that stops all the time I imagine it's better on intercity ones which don't wobble and brake often.

@shpuld @Ninmi too bad I never did, and found it atrocious, having played and finishing mad max on steam controller with gyro and it was a better experience.

@hj @Ninmi it makes sense when you get used to it, but it took me a while to accept it as well, now I think splat3 has best motion aim in any game on the market
