David Revoy (davidrevoy@framapiaf.org)'s status on Thursday, 15-Sep-2022 19:19:07 JST David Revoy @spaetzler Hi, Thanks.
About the Sensitive/Eye contact: I think it's a serious issue for those who are affected and probably they can't deal with going to buy groceries for this reason. I wouldn't mock this, personally.
Unfortunately, masking artworks for them had a huge impact on how many views my art received. So, I decided to drop this practice. I sincerely wish a better system could exist to protect them (eg. a keyword I could enter so they can auto-hide any eye contact on their side.)

David Revoy (davidrevoy@framapiaf.org)'s status on Thursday, 15-Sep-2022 19:28:38 JST David Revoy @spaetzler I better understand. Thanks for clarifying ☺️
I so wish the social media could detect this automatically and auto-attribute the appropriate 'eye contact' meta tag (or let the user specify it with a check box). So, the message can still be auto hid from people affected by this issue who set this option on their settings.
I'll ask later if a keyword exists; I know many clients on the Fediverse supports auto skipping or hiding messages filtered by keywords.Hélène likes this. -

spätzler (spaetzler@brotka.st)'s status on Thursday, 15-Sep-2022 19:28:39 JST spätzler @davidrevoy Im not trying to mock it, I just think we cant go through life trying to not offend every person in existence as the benefits of doing that will never outweigh the downsides. When I post selfies Id feel a bit insulted if people would tell me to put a NSFW tag on it because I look at the camera
