   I can't be the only one who sometimes selects an image for a toot, and then reconsiders and select another? So I don't understand why images are uploaded upon selection, and not on publishing? Seems like a waste of bandwidth to me, or am I missing something? #MastoMeta

     @sotolf Sure, but they don't have to be uploaded to the server for you to write the alt text. Just show the image on the website/in the app, and upload after pushing publish…? No?

     @forteller I usually add the pictures first, since I have to write alt-text for them, so I usually do that before I write the text for the toot itself.

     @sotolf Yeah, I've had that issue too. And then I can't even write the alt text until they get uploaded, which seems bad to me. I'd rather be able to just do everything I have to do, and then have the app/website try to upload the post automatically after I'm done, until it goes trough.

     @forteller Yeah, that's true enough :) since my network often is kind of spotty, some times one or two of them don't get uploaded correctly, and I have to reupload them 2-3 times before they go up (when not on pc) maybe that's part of the reason, just a guess though :)
