1. Animation of global maps showing land surface temperature anomalies for each June over the last 100 years through 2023. There is a long-term warming trend in all areas and large spatial variability. Anomalies are computed relative to a 1951-1980 baseline. Blue shading is shown for colder anomalies, and red shading is shown for warmer anomalies.
