   The e-zine section mentions one called The Amateur Computerist and says it documents "the development of USENET" (might be interesting to @vga256 or @SteveBellovin). It sounded interesting and after a bit of googling I found an online archive of issues dating back to 1988! I've only read a few issues but so far it's really good. http://www.ais.org/~jrh/acn/NewIndex.pdf
