BREAKING: The Union of Fediverse Janitors (known by the slogan "We Do It For Free") has gone on strike following the introduction of Threads - points of contention include no remuneration for federating with Threads and no acknowledgement of their hard work toiling away in the report mines.
An anonymous server operator has commented: "We have never been consulted about federation with the Entity That Shall Not Be Named yet the U.F.J. have had access to these so called "secret meetings". Furthermore, we have proof of report spam abuse by members of the U.F.J. and do not tolerate any fraud incurred while pursuing administrative metrics."
An automated janitorial solution is currently being tested to completely eliminate the janitor's role, and is running on *oma and *key, with planned rollout to the Big M in the coming weeks. Ebin Town poster eazy-t comments: "Big e-Egos will soon realize the wrath of automation!"
