   The SAG-AFTRA & other unions are going to need a lot of support in the strike.

   I just told my 10yo that the people who make the shows that we like to watch & that have kept us from going insane over the pandemic, had to go on strike.

   He immediately said we should send them $, then asked if we should stop watching ROKU. He thought for a minute & said, no problem, we can just take books & movies & games out of the library. Then thoughtfully wondered if we should stop all streaming.

   Solidarity.

     Basically, guys, capital is paying attention.

     Labor has been under concerted attack by the fascists (Republicans) since the Southern switch/Southern Strategy. Reagan dealt working Americans so many blows, they’ve only gotten worse since then.

     We need to win this one. Every nation’s apathetic center needs strong unions to defeat fascism & keep democracy - even if they don’t realize it.

     I can’t stress how quickly we need to build union strength, or how much US labor stands to gain. Or lose.

     Striking workers are speaking up for all of us. CEOs with cancerous paychecks are squeezing workers dry in every sector of the economy.

     We cancelled all our streaming, in solidarity.

     This is the one most powerful weapon that those of us who support labor have at the moment (I saw some members of SAG have cancelled theirs as well).

     Disney & Netflix had space to write why in their cancellation . So I did. Suggest you write something like this in when you cancel your Disney subscription.
