inevitably, they do this while not actually citing any specific actual Black feminists, (bc irl Black feminists do not actually agree with white men's white supremacist patriarchal abuse apologetics, but in fact quite the opposite) thus simultaneously co-opting Black and utterly silencing Black feminism itself

it's ghoulish to watch and infuriating because living in a white supremacist patriarchy means they virtually always get met with praise and credit by other white people, who then start using "disagreeing with non-white-centered theory" to mean "disagreeing this white cis man." because white cis men's automatic entitlement to epistemic authority means they are always automatically treated as experts about whatever they're holding forth on
