     That’s the question, isn’t it? Why isn’t the fediverse far better for organizing?

     Structurally, it ought to be better: not under the thumb of an oligarch, self-organizing, built around the premise of grassroots power…etc etc.

     But it’s not. Not close. Why not?

     That’s a question we all ought to take very, very seriously. And I know that how Black people have been treated here is item number one of the answer.

     @BlackAzizAnansi why doesn't it work here? Is it the technical limitations like missing search or is it more the fact that it never reached a critical mass?
