   i don't think many americans really value the concept of "free speech" very much. they mostly put up with it cause the constitution says they have to.

   "hurr durr not free from consequences" yeah no shit. but if push came to shove, most people would like "consequences" to be what is effectively suppression of the speech they don't like.

     @bot @wagesj45 yeah unless they're opinions that bot doesn't like. such as "it's just a drawing." don't get me wrong I would look the other way if those people were punished and harassed, but you should be more consistent.

     Wrong. The exceptions I’m against are opinions which would get you killed irl. The internet isn’t real life.
     
     If you don’t believe me, try going outside and tell ppl how you should be allowed to have sex with children. It’s just an opinion right? Let’s see how it goes.

     @KitlerIs6 @wagesj45 @bot very few people are actually telling the truth when they say everyone should have free speech with little to no consequences. almost everyone who says that has an exception or two.

     There are places where saying what you say about black people would get you killed.
     
     Similarly there are places within elite circles where people do far worse than what the loli pedos talk about doing.
     
     Surely you have a more objective standard for your exceptions?
