   I've been trying to gather my AA chips (from 1 month to 12 months/1 year) and I am missing 3 and have doubles of 3......
   
   I didn't think I was quite this disorganized lol XD I definitely thought I took one each month.

     @Flick Omg you're right. I gave my parents 6 month chip. I think all the doubles are from times someone handed me a chip after a meeting. Oh well. It's not 12 chips in order but it's 12 chips XD

     @Flick Yes, theyll just be in a box with other special trinkets. They are just pieces of plastic but they are attached to memories I have of my first few months of sobriety and my progress so worth keeping.
     
     My 1 year chip is super pretty and custom made though I love it :blob_melt_sob: lol

     @Piss_Ant Oh, definitely worth keeping, I just meant don’t beat yourself up over not having all of them. They’re just a reminder of a far more important reality.

     @dave Omg lol that would be cute. They aren't all a standard size though, unfortunately.
     
     Also if u asked me when I was one month sober id be like yes I am framing this shit but that feeling definitely doesn't stick with you. The chips serve their purpose a little bit of extra motivation, a reason for u to get up and ppl congratulate you when you're in early sobriety, and all the benefits of sobriety are kind of abstract still. The one month feels the most significant because it took me like 7900 attempts lol 😆

     1. I don’t actually know how to make anything, and
     2. AA chips aren’t supposed to be on display if I understand the system correctly

     @dave I think they are meant to be the same size (size of a poker chip). I just checked, all mine except 2 are the same diameter. Then at least 2 different thicknesses. I suppose if the diameter is the same for all/most, it would work.
     
     I think various manufacturers use different width. And then chips have been around long enough and enough people donate their chips back that you get a bit of a mix and match. The two of mine that are diff size from the rest must just not be "standard" 🤷

     @Piss_Ant Important thing here is what “they aren’t all a standard size” means. Do you mean there isn’t standardization for a coin recognizing the same milestone, or that the coin sizes are different for the various milestones?
