I really think one of the hardest things about being polyamorous is the complete dearth of representation for what a healthy poly relationship looks like.

Monogamous people grow up surrounded by media rep of both healthy and toxic relationships and know what both look like. Poly people on the other hand often stumble through some pretty toxic shit because the only representation of us in media is some crummy documentary where everyone looks unhappy and the presenter clearly hates you.
