@lore you may try blender, though when i use it it eats all of my ram but maybe it'll work for you, worth trying
this isn't very helpful. no waveform preview on the WAV file so i can't sync. also, why the emojis? this looks like it was designed for casual users. KDEnlive has a more professional interface. but this is much faster. i want KDEnlive's interface with the engine that OpenShot uses.
i'm going to try the AppImage version from the website and see what happens...

installed OpenShot via the the Ubuntu package manager. it didn't launch. checked what was going on via the terminal and
