     Imagine complaining that a religion that is patriarchal by definition has a prayer with patriarchal association. It's one of those "no shit Sherlock" moments. It's like complaining feminism is about women, or that water is wet. It's literally one of it's defining features. You don't like it, leave the Church.

     You know nothing of your own religion apparently. Between the numerous translations, transcribings, the fact that none of the authors were contemporary with Jesus, one thing is clear: nothing in the Bible is the direct word of Jesus. At best it's what flawed humans were able to remember and write down at some point. At worst, it's what people with ambitions of power created as a means to control the masses. I personally lean towards the former.
