I can never unstand the kind of feminists who would agree that men can be women. I remember what Megan Murphy has discussed with Kellie Jay Keen in a video. Both of them felt betrayed by most feminists and women. To them, those traitors prioritize their own benefits over women's rights.
As an Asian woman who have grown up in a hostile environment, I can never accept that some men could claim to "feel like" women. No, they have no single clue what it is like to be a woman. If they knew, then they would give up being one. I am not saying that being a woman is a curse or something. What I am saying is that womanhood is beyond the realm of identity (or a man's narcissistic imagination). I cannot speak for others but I would say the reason I feel proud to be a woman is the lived experience shared between women. We have the same body and have fought against the same shit in this misgynistic world before the day we were born. That bond can never be imitated nor deprived by any men.
I always know that any women will believe in what I say and tell me she can relate. And I always repay this trust and comfort when any women need.
I know, out there, still many women do not "feel like" being one. My experience is that you must find the right tribe at first. Being a woman could be a wonderful life-long journey if you find a few good partners to ride with.
