   Are there other people on both #Calckey and #Mastodon? If so, I'm curious how you use your accounts differently. Or do you cross-post the same thing?

     @danwentzel In my observation people with fedi accounts on more than one platform almost never cross-post. There really is no point to doing so since some form of the post can reach all fedi platforms. Instead they post content best suited to the platforms like masto for short status, calckey or whatever for long posts, pixelfed for pictures, peertube for video etc.

     If you really want a post to be seen you might *sometimes* boost it from the account with most followers but actual regular cross-posting doesn't seem to be a thing when all accounts involved are fedi-aware.

     @danwentzel I'm mainly on Friendica, but have alts on Misskey, Pleroma, Mastodon and GNU Social.

     It's mostly for troubleshooting fedi issues or to see different formatting, but e.g. answering polls is not supported in Friendica so I do that in Misskey.

     Also my admin is not in my timezone, so sometimes my main is down for db maintenance when I want to post, and then I go to my alt to post – when my main is back I'll repost those if I remember to. =)
