@PorkCow @pix @Bead @Twoinchdestroya i dunno i might give it a run through eventually, on hte other hand, the 12 remaster,, i sunk some time into that and evne bought it again on steam during the sale cuz i don't wanna have to bring out my ps4 and hook it up to play it.

  I got XII when it first released on steam and I was pissed that it didn't have any of the Zodiac Age features. Like ZA came out years and years before that and all of the changes made were a direct upgrade on some of the worst aspects of XII. They finally decided to update the game with the ZA features and it is much better to play now.

  It was really fun on PS2 because there really wasn't anything else like it at the time. Figuring out how to work the gambit system and then optimize it so your NPC became engines of destruction was so much fun back in the day.

  @Bead @PorkCow @pix @Twoinchdestroya i think it still is, also i really didn't play final fantasy games till the ps4 and i started on 8 having saw people play 7 i asked my mom for it and she got 8, then i played 9 and thought it was pretty good. even tho i hate hte cahracter deisgns mostly.

  Yeah, when 9 came out I was kind of disappointed because of the style of the character design. I had been hoping for a more techno-magical think like they did with 7 and 9. However as I played the game I really started to get into it and learn to appreciate the art as an expression of the storytelling. It is super deformed so everything looks cute, but at the same time there is an underlying creepiness to character's proportions. I felt that dissonance helped feed into the story of a world where things are not what they seem and beneath the surface there is a darkness growing.
